Even with that class, The Big Ten still has 8 other schools ahead of them. But top 9 in the Big Ten for recruiting in Wrestling is impressive. They will only get better and better.

Rutgers has been labeled a sleeping giant in athletics for a long time. When it comes to wrestling and now being a B1G member, I really believe it is true. In five years, I think the RU grapplers will be a consensus Top 10 program year in, year out. NJ wrestling is just too strong for it not to happen.

It will be difficult to move up in the B1G rankings because the top schools have a long history of success which translates to better recruiting.

The facilities are the real issue. Blue chip recruits will take one look at the practice room and look elsewhere. The whole team can't even practice together because the room is so small and in the basement. Don't see use breaking into the top 10 until those issues are addressed. Until then I expect us to hover around top 25 with 1-2 AA's per year.
