OT: weekly Golf thread

so this past friday, a buddy asked me to go golfing so we left work earlier and got on for twilight up in bergen county.

playing a round with two randoms was fun as usual. this one guy in particular was very friendly and funny. ends up being FDU's mens bball head coach, Coach G.

He had really good things to say about RU's new men's bball hire and even Pat Hobbs (was an assistant at Seton Hall in the past).

Coach G is probably the best golfer I've ever played a round with.

Met my goal of 2016 by breaking 90...in April. It's going to be a long season of chasing that score again.

Just went and hit balls. As I posted masters week my buddy's son is Russell Knox. Russell finished T2 and is now 3rd in Fedex points and money for the year. My buddy is on cloud 9.

Is that the links or the traditional course? I prefer the links course. My brother lives in Highstown and we play there all the time. The grill is pretty good as well.

You should have played with me when I was in my prime. Then you could still say that Coach G was the best golfer you ever played with.
