OT-What Do You Do with a Found BMW Key FOB With a Dead Battery?

It worthless, it doesn't even work with a Honda Accord.

I would just trade it from some London Broil at Shoprite.

what If you have one dead FOB battery ON two found keys, one that works and another that does not? HMMM...

I go with option 2. Legally speaking, I believe it falls under "finders, keepers." Bonus: a weeping Al might not post his usual dreck for a while.

I can't see how anybody could have use for a key fob that automatically disables itself at every traffic light.

Bad ending to the story. Found a car that matched the fob. Opened the door, and while getting into the car, the became lodged on a platform under the drivers side seat. Could not reach it, and did not have time to--saw a guy coming towards the car in a Rutgers sweatshirt, so left it there.

Look for the car it belongs to? I'd start with the Belmar impound lot. If not there just drive around looking for a car parked the wrong way on a one way street.

Was he singing something about savon huggins under his breath?
