Nope. 4 years. It would take a "blockbuster" type of deal with a slew of young prospects and the Yanks, finally, have that and plenty more in their farm system right now. Not saying anything happens BUT the option to make offers again is finally there. Went from one of the weaker farms systems to, arguably, one of the best, the lat 18 months or so.

I wish it would happen but I just don't see the Angels making a trade at all unless Trout requests one and I don't see him doing that either.
Sweeney Murti has reported the Yankees are pursuing it.
The Angels could never get equal value and they need him to sell tickets while they rebuild.

Was obviously tongue in cheek, but he is around them most of the offseason, hunting and hanging out. He could build a small city with his money in that part of South Jersey. Plus it would be easy for him to get to his season tickets at the Eagles games.
