I think harper can be explosive like Mathis..I just think in high school he was growing into his own body. Some of the things he did when he got into a rhythm in the last half of the year made every other player on the court look slow.

I think I was higher on Harper than anyone as a recruit but he will never ever ever be an explosive athlete like Mathis

Isn’t it funny. The kid is exactly what Pikiell wants in a point guard and he dominated at a very high level. First NJ triple double average in 26 years. He isn’t going to wow anyone with athleticism but he is going to do everything on the court that Pikiell needs. He is the type of winner that Rutgers never gets.
