RU's biggest weakness is its lack of size up front, PSU's biggest weakness is their lack of scoring productivity from their bigs...RU is without Sanders, but PSU is the team most vulnerable for a letdown...

Two weeks ago PSU beat then #22 Indiana at home, followed up by a nearly 20 point loss on the road to Nebraska...last night PSU beat # Iowa at home...I think they have another let down game and RU wins by 10 ending the conference losing streak and climbing out of the basement.

The only shot is PSU laying an egg which happens alot after upsetting a ranked team and going on the road to play a bad one. If Rutgers had Sanders I'd say yes but without him probably not

The men's basketball program is on an awful downward spiral. And no one win will change that...see Wisconsin game last Fall.
If Rutgers cares at all about it's mens' basketball program, they will be looking for a new coach very soon. I actually had difficulty explaining to a friend the other night exactly why Jordan is still the head coach.
I was almost at a loss for words.....ME !

.............. PSU (typically) struggles down low, RU doesn't have a lot down low, PSU will get more production that usual from their big guys.

- Penn State doesn't have "let downs" against Rutgers. In any sport, pretty much every, it just doesn't happen.

- as I said prior to the Illinois game, about all games to be played without Sanders, take our opponent giving the points, whatever they are, because odds are we don't cover

Agreed....EJ is nice guy, but he does not get the most out of his players and struggles to recruit strong. For years NJ has had quality parochial school head coaches with All American players and All state players .... and they they, for the most part, already know how to recruit to bring players to their HSchool team. Why not after so many years, give one of these guys a chance. Boyle, Hurley, etc..... need to clean house fast...like the FB team did.

I've watched enough big ten basketball on BTN to know PSU is a streaky team that plays to their level of competition, they have one guy, a senior small forward who scores 40% of their points, take him out of the game and RU can win a low scoring game...

The witch hunt continues...it's not possible to be a fan of my home state schools athletics program because I grew up a PSU FOOTBALL fan as most of New Jersey did in the 80s and 90s that followed college football. I'm new here in the posting sense, I've been following his bird for over 3 years. Like I said, do you make the same comments in the Corey sanders thread or the wrestling thread? Or are you just trolling specific posters that don't fit your ideology of who a RU atheltic supporter should be?
