Was in Virginia last weekend while driving we saw an suv with two block R's move in front of and my entire family was saying go RU ! We were proud and air pumped us up for the season. Then the guy starts weaving in and out of traffic cutting everyone off , speeding and swerving in front of people. Basically he turned out to be a jersey D Bag !

My wife is from Michigan is convinced nobody here knows how to drive. I try to remind her that driving here is just different. The first time she saw route 80 near the GSP interchange in all its ten lane glory she almost had a heart attack.

Reminds me of the time I went with a friend to pick up some Mormon intern at the airport to take back down to RU.

It wasnt quite rush hour - traffic was heavy, but moving slowly. This girl seemed almost terrified to be going so fast with so many cars around.

Comes with the territory and is inevitable. My favorite is when a TV news segment features some perp caught on surveillance "tape" wearing some school's sports/spirit wear, typically a logo cap or hoody. Gotta laugh. Just gotta laugh.

I prefer to think the driver probably either borrowed or stole a Rutgers Fan/Alum's car. None of us would ever act like that:sunglasses:

What does her religion have to do with anything?
I know a Mormon girl. Technically not a girl, as she's got four kids and is in her 50s, but still. She likes Rutgers. I like Rutgers. Mormons like Rutgers. I see nothing wrong here.

I always have to laugh when we're all exiting the parking lots after a game. We're all buddies during the game but some of us turn into d**ks in the parking lot, cutting people off to get out faster. Something about getting behind the wheel turns people into a**holes.

Heh, I've thought about that for a moment while speeding by and/or cutting off some oblivious fools parked in the left lane on the highway. To be fair, if seeing a Block R magnet or RU-related regalia, I'll be a little more deferential/respectful when passing. The rest of the time, it's probably Syracuse, PSU or BC (Mass. Plates) fans anyways [winking]

This is the correct approach to life and living.

Calling BS.

Utah has some of the country's only 80 mph speed limit zones, at least one of which is in the populated greater metro area.

Now, maybe she wasn't from Utah. But she'd been there.

Also you said traffic was moving slowly, but she was afraid to be going so fast. That story just crashed under its own weight.

I'm convinced the rest of the country drive like tomorrow is promised.[laughing]

Out west some states have higher speed limits, but she lot less traffic. It could be the volume of cars at 65 mph and the (lack of) distance between cars that made afraid.
