So Joey Hauser requested a waiver so he could play at MSU this season. It was denied and this is getting some press for a few reasons:
1.) Izzo says he's devastated (BooHoo)
2.) Izzo resigned from the NABC Board of Directors following the denial
3.) Most of the world hates the NCAA these days for all kinds of mostly good reasons, the latest one being they're telling James Wiseman he has to pay the $11,500 back. (And where will he get that from an Agent?
)
My question is, what was Hauser's "case" for his waiver to be approved? We know Quinerly's case was some BS that he endured hardship and was put through the wringer when his name came up in the Asst. Coach payoff scandal.
Or did Hauser even need to make a case for a waiver? Maybe anyone can just apply for one these days b/c somehow the transfer rules have changed?
