Arizona advanced and is hosting one of the WNIT "Elite Eight" games.

There is a lesson there. Arizona has (in general) drawn decently well. A year or 2 ago they were on a par with a "down" RU, although I read somewhere they averaged a bit over 2000 this year.

So, they wanted to draw 5000 for the WNIT games, and they didn't get it at first, but had over 3000 the first game. The second game, close to 4000. Over 6000 for game 3. They did promos to get the students (called the Zona Zoo, do football and men's basketball) out - food for the 1st 100, give away contests at half time and various folks purchasing tix for them (no free tickets for postseason). Also encouraged folks to buy tickets for military families (we have a large air force base, Davis Monthan, here).

This will be a base for increased attendance going forward.
