125-- Assuming NS healthy, no brainer.
133-- SDV, yes.
141-- MVB--- Sadly no.
149--- ED-- yes.
157-- JVB-- Hope so, but not sure.
165-- RL, Yes.
174-- JG-- No.
184-- NG-- yes
197-- No
HWT- No.

Does anyone see it different? I think we're looking at 14th or 15th at NCAAs.

I hope so. I am high on Grello. He wrestles with the right attitude. Would love to see him get some experience at nationals.

141--- I believe he has better then 50% chance to qualify.. he beat couple NCAA quality guys
157--- healthy JVB is qualifying...
174--- same as 141 I give JG better then 50% shot to qualify ...

If healthy, Suriano is a top 3 lock, RL will AA, and we got 2 or 3 more guys on bubble to AA

There are 7 ranked guys at 141 in the Big Ten but beyond that it is a crap shoot for the final 2 spots, and that is assuming no upsets which can will and have happened.

I really hope MVB can qualify but he has a tough road. Best case scenario he gets the ranked kid from Purdue first round. Otherwise it looks like he wrestles Illinois and that kid dominated him. If seeds hold true to rankings and MVB wins rd 1 he would have Indiana in the qtrs which is winnable. In that scenario he qualifies. If he loses rd 1 he will have to beat several wrestlers that have already beaten him. The keys for MVB are to get to his offense early and avoid the bottom position.

There was a discussion on Flo about Suriano. They guys expressed some concern about length of time he's been out and we're surprised that Metzler's red shirt was burned. But they said that indications are he will be back for BIGs and both guys still like him to win 125 at BIGs

I know people who have been out of the game for 2-3 weeks thanks to this year's mutated flu strain. Apparently while not a debilitating, 3-4 day type, it just won't go away.

Grello has wrestled everyone this year for the exception of Hall and maybe Bo Jordan close and needs that killer instinct to close out matches. He's a fringe 20-25 guy now and I see a lot of potential with S&C for another year. Rides well but needs to develop the scoring mentality. Again would love for him to make some noise and get a spot to gain some nationals experience.

I don't get why there would be a shock over Metlzer's redshirt being burned. Where does he fit in the lineup in a few years? If he intends on graduating in 4 years, what is the point of holding onto the shirt?

Only Goodale bashers complain about this....If Metlzer wants a redshirt, he can redshirt next season sitting behind NS. I was shocked at how people cant figure this out.

Why is it rational to put an 'e' at the end of rationale, but not at the end of irrational? Sorry, one of my pet peeves, along with dominate, when the word people are looking for is dominant. Yeah, I know, grammar police is weak.

Anyway, you are conflating two different threads over there, the karma thread and the thread that was started after Nick missed the Wisconsin dual. The OP of the karma thread has been put in his place by the majority of posters over there. In fact, just about every other message in that thread either has nothing to do with karma, is denouncing the OP or indicates disdain for anyone that wishes injury on any wrestler. One guy does not a message board make.

The other thread has a bunch of speculation, rumor, innuendo and hearsay, at least some of it coming from the real dysfunctional board, TheMat, or so I think. I venture over there once or twice a year, just to make sure it is still as bad as I think it is, and then I go take a shower to wash the stink off.

Oh, and lest you think RU is special, we don't stop at picking on RU. As PSU fans, we also pick on Iowa, Ohio State and others that deserve it. :D

So having a different opinion of say RL missing weight to the point that he missed the Loch Haven match which we lost because of it and the ensuing way 157-165 had to be switched and JVB unfairly being dumped out of the Iowa match ...Along with being a new poster at the time and simply because it was a different opinion of RL which many obviously still have regarding RL and his dodging Imar the minute someone says what they feel ...that makes them a troll .lol...having an opinion that some have yet won’t say is being honest ..if we all agreed about everything why would we even need this forum ..
