I know I keep saying it, but the offense is still struggling due to lack of timely passing. Still not playing together, but instead, individually. Each one gets the ball and tries to score in a one-on-one move. Looks like Biddy league stuff. They don't think to pass until they have been swarmed and have to take a tough shot or a tough pass. As we know, it often ends badly in a stripped dribble, blocked shot, or a turnover on the pass attempt. That is why last night's game was close to the last 2 minutes.

Even Kaylene, as great as she has been, is guilty of missing the easy pass that could get teammates more rhythm jump shots that could get the offense rolling more smoothly. She doesn't look to pass until she absolutely has too. Fortunately, she's good at drawing the contact to get free throws on some of these occasions, but they have to do better at realizing that they can make a move with the intention of setting up a teammate (draw and kick it). This way, we end up with more than just 5 assists, as a team, for the entire game.

If they don't start doing a better job of moving the ball faster, the last two games could be ugly like the Iowa game.

Also, had to mention the impressive power moves Chyna made in the paint. She grows with each game. Nice to see her make quicker decisions while being strong with the ball when she gets it. Wonderful development!

Totally agree. Miss out on a lot of easier shots to make contested shots.

It hurts that RU doesn’t have a true point guard and facilitator. Not sure if that will be addressed in the off-season but that, along with more depth on the roster, is essential for next season’s outlook.

IF season ended today, RU would get #10 seed in B10 Tournament.

If they can win one of their remaining games @Wisconsin, @Michigan, vs Illinois, will be a big success.
totally agree. Winning games you should with this short bench this late in the season is nice work. Congrats to the team and coach.

why is your counter stuck at 24,988 ?
Could be TKR feels I haven't made a worthwhile contribution since #24,988 and won;t count any message of mine until I do.😀
Or could be another reason"
afraid of what song I'll post to celebrate my #25,000 and delaying it as long as possible🙃
edit guess this one is worthwhile because TKR added it to my count
or fell asleep at the wheel and will deduct it , as soon as they notice it, in fear of a song breaking out over the addition

funny. but know if you go back they all say 24,991! and if you add them up since you may actually be at 25K ..or24,999 :)

I never noticed my post count until you mentioned how it was stuck on 24.988.
Glitch in the system probably and guess my 25.000 post will be numbered 25,010.
Making celebrating # 25,000 a little hard for me to do and saving TKR members from listening to "The Sound of Pain" by Awful

Stopping by to congratulate the team for getting another win. How many of you expected double digits in the W column and a chance at the middle third of conference standing? Congratulations Coach Washington: the Scarlet Knights have matched the win total from last season and have the opportunity to surpass it.

I still have moments of a sigh and a thought about what could have been had things not been so distrupted nearly three years ago. The 'if only' thoughts can nag a bit. If only Diamond Johnson had stayed. She said that she left for a bigger platform, which she had for two years after she left; NC State dropped out of the rankings earlier this year. If only Alexis Morris had made her behavioural adjustments a few years earlier--she is doing well at LSU. Instead of the unfortunate way the CVS era ended, Stringer might have had a legit run at a B1G title (Would she have been the only coach to have a title with two different teams?) and a few rounds in the NCAAT. Despite what those who wanted CVS gone a decade ago implied about her destroying the programme, RU finished THIRD in the B1G two of the last three years she coached. She had the ability to repeatedly return her teams to the upper echelon of the league after a couple of bad years.

Go Scarlet Knights WBB!

Good point.
FWIW, the men's program's rise to flirting with the Top 25 is where CVS' teams were the last few years she was on the sideline. Her teams held rankings for parts of the season.

Hopefully, the guys can finish the year with a high ranking as the women, unfortunately, were unable to do.
