All the guys he wrestled this year were not slouches both today were top 20. Hopefully he can win some of these 50/50 matches. Everyone here hopes he progresses towards a 8-15 ranking instead of a 16-30 guy.

For those that watched the matches, any insight on Suriano's opening bout vs Moddy? I'm sure the action was not as close as the score but expected him to score more on the Oky kid.

First, Moody is ranked, so he is no slouch. Regarding the match, Moody was in pure defense mode at all times. Moody is very strong for that weight, so he was able to fend off Nick's attacks pretty well.

I never said he was a slouch ruwarrior, and I believe he was ranked to start the season (17?) but not now. However he is not in Suriano's league regardless of ranking.

If he was in pure defensive mode that makes sense.
