RU vs Wisconsin 2/25/19 7PM GAME THREAD

Good job, Scarlet Knights! Ten players scored. FG 44%, 30 pts off turnovers. Supposed to win by 20 and did. During the three-game losing streak, RU scored 48, 46, and 39 points. Last three games RU scored 69, 76, and 73 pts, going 2-1. Let´s hope the scoring slump is over for the season.

Way to go ladies. You put the pedal to the metal and didn't give up all the way through. In light of the recent adversity, it's nice to beat a team that is the weak sister in a pretty strong conference. Congrats!

Michigan and Ohio State 4th and 5th with seven losses each. Two more wins (one after tonight) and we're guaranteed a top four finish.

Actually any win in the last two and we will be the #3 seed.
But if we lose both we will almost certainly drop to #5.
See the Games of Interest Feb 25 thread for more details.

Whats with Carey getting two fouls almost every first quarter?Wisconsin leads 5-4 .

Is it just me, or at every game with 2 male refs and 1 female refs, the men seem to delight in calling lots of ticky-tack fouls to show how knowledgeable (of the rules) they are? In spite of these marginal calls, they regularly overlook obvious Traveling Infractions. The one bald ref was particularly awful last night, trying to steal the show. I thought a good game was defined by the fact that you didn't notice the officials!!!

Very enjoyable game last night. The two 5-player squads looked "high energy". Still cannot understand all of the incredibly unnecessary turnovers. Why are certain players trying to emulate the "long bomb forward pass" down court like they are NFL QBs. Cannot fathom some of the silly turnovers! In a blowout, there are few consequences. In the Tournament, these turnovers will haunt.
