Does anybody else wish Dylan and Ace were NOT at the game today?
The whole game is very pickup game-esque. Not surprising given the disparity in competitive levels. But not fun to watch.
You could put mannequins on the floor in a 3-2 zone and completely shut down this RU offense
Mag and Cliff, but their impact is severely mitigated with such a poor surrounding cast. Mag’s a great defender and hustle player — but a guy like that matters less on a bad team. And Cliff would be effective with capable guard play but we have the opposite of that this year
Other than that, I agree. Hyatt the only guy with a consistent pulse. Last minute defections or not it’s sad that this is our reality in Pike’s 8th year

To me to going all in on a guy with an injury plus a kid in the portal was a bad move by Pike...body is completely soft

And I believe that’s including 2 banked threes. I don’t think they were set-shots however.
While I agree that Davis is an important piece this season, I don’t think this game is showing anything other than how unmotivated and unfocused the team is. Playing way, way down to the level of competition.
Sucks and it creates fertile ground for an upset. Coaches hate it and it’s obvious from Pike’s subbing that he’s trying to jolt the team out of its funk. But it happens a lot in most sports.
