Rutgers can NOT get blown out in Michigan game 60 Recruits will be in attendance

I really hope your prediction is wrong. If not that will mean 14 straight Qtrs. in which the RU offense has only scored 1 TD. That's 3 and one half games. Mind boggling and at the bottom of all college football.

Considering the fact that 2 of those games - 8 full quarters - would have come against 3 and 5 total D's in the nation, and that our QB literally left 3 TD's on the field against Iowa, I don't find it "mind boggling" in the least.

I have to say it was nice of you to arrange for them to see this game in particular.

if you think you are as good as I think you are, we can use your help out there right away. do you want to compete at the top level? here is your chance.

Invite the kids to you tailgate when you leave at the half and chat them up. Tell am their parents don't want to travel 500 miles to see them play.

We completed 3 passes against OSU.

Harbaugh is going to send a message to NJ HS players. This is going to get really really ugly

It almost feels like walking into an execution of your friend.
What message? That Kyle flood couldn't recruit? That message has been out there..hell, even ash tells our commits that.

It is very Unfortunate but unless our QB situation improves overnight we will get blown out. Laviano as every one knows has not gotten it done. Our receives don't separate or get open all together and our best player is out for the year. It's gonna get ugly real ugly and that's just the way it is right now.
Not to mention our starting MLB is done for the season, a starting DL is out for the season, one of our hardest hitting safeties is out for the game...

Gonna be a tough game. My advice to the fans is to enjoy the hell out of the tailgate and keep it positive during the game (no booing as that's one thing the fans might do that will surely affect recruiting). My advice to the recruiting folks on the team is to prepare the visiting recruits for the possibility of it being a nasty blow out game.

Trying to keep this positive, I'll just say that the degree to which I am underwhelmed by your cheerfulness, enthusiasm, and optimism is outstandingly high. :)

The recruits are well aware that Laviano is on the train out of town
They are what will be driving it for at least three years and they also know that it will not driven by a D3 QB.If they get what is going on here then they will stay and others will hop on. If not they catch the next one to another college town.Simple as that
IMHO

Remember June 8 ? Camp Wars ? Michigan had their big camp in Bergen County scheduled for this date, when Ash later decided to do a big RU/Ohio St camp same day.

You can bet Harbaugh hasn't forgotten. And he will try to break 100 as pay back.

I actually think we're going to try to run the ball a lot. I don't think he'll stop scoring if we run the score up, but I also don't think he's worried about putting up 50+ points.

D and ST could have a couple scores though.

and 50 basketball recruits will be at midnight madness..then the football game..BIG weekend for RU recruiting..
Rutgers basketball coach Steve Pikiell expects 50 high school recruits for Michigan football weekend

we also need someone other then a freshman baseball player,to catch the DAMN BALL

That is less controllable than the environment at the stadium. We can do our part by maintaining a great atmosphere at the game. These kids know we are going to lose big. If we can create a cool atmosphere they can be sold on what the program will be like when they get here and playing time will be a real option to sitting the bench a few years at Michigan or OSU.
This^
If I'm a recruit I'd rather be on the team that takes down #1-5 than the team that is consistently ranked up there. Tomorrow night the fans can sway these recruits. If RU wins all 50 will want an offer.

I think Michigan is not gonna treat this game like a scrimmage. They will work on the Offense pass game and run game first and foremost. I think Harbaugh will feel disrespected by Ash based off his twitter comments. They will not be able to run the ball or pass it. Wisconsin had 160 yards of offense for the whole game. I see the score as 50 to 0 or 50 to 3. Harbaugh may shut it down after the half though. He generally doesn't like to embarrass other coaches not named Pete Carroll. I don't think he will embarrass a young Coach that wanted to be on his staff at Stanford.

As someone who has witnessed RU getting destroyed (as a recruit), I will say this... I believe the scores were 63-0 and 50-3 (Shea era) or something like that... I didn't leave those games thinking "yes, I definitely want to go here", but I also understood that there was a "rebuilding" process ongoing. So I would say that blowouts obviously don't look good, but they also aren't the end all be all to recruiting.
Judging by your screen name I am guessing you chose Miami over RU? sorry you missed all that 0-11 action Shea brought to the table?

ha ha ha, no... I skipped school the day coach Thompson came to visit me. Forgot he was coming. I was a prop 48 casualty anyway. But I've been a Canes fan since I was 12.

well I am sure you have done well for yourself I was an early 80's Cane fan too until we ended up in the Big East with them. They were my number 2 and Nebraska was my 3rd choice. RU was always my number 1

Yes sirrr! Set to retire from the Air Force soon. 20 years of air traffic control, and finishing a bachelors in sociology. Not bad at all for a kid who skipped school when a college came to visit. Lol.

Awesome thank you for your service your choice was just as good as going to college.

Ash better figure something out for this game. If this turns out to be another crushing blowout that only makes Michigan look like world-beaters and RU look like poo poo, than it was like cutting your own throat to have such a huge recruiting presence for this game. Ash is responsible for trotting Laviano out under center game after game. Don;t give me "Laviano gives us the best chance to win" BS. Ash is paid several million dollars to get creative as a coach, motivate his players and put on a decent and respectable show for the RU fans.

You gotta be kidding right ?
Buddy take out the fact that we played the top defenses OSU and Michigan than we still only have scored One TD in 6 Qtrs. This against a real bad defense New Mexico (and missing their top Defensive Player) and against Iowa. The same Iowa team that gave up 38 points at home a week later against a bad Northwestern team.
Anybody defending our Offense is mind boggling.

We lost already? I'm confused, what am I going to on Saturday if we already got blown out?!

I said "likely." Look, I think I am as optimistic as anyone, but I don't see how you can't acknowledge that this game is likely to be a blowout loss.

Not "defending" it just pointing out facts (as you are).

I hope we are both wrong and see one or maybe two offensive TDs tomorrow by RU.
