Interesting that one of the high school teams that Rutgers is hosting is Morris County's Randolph HS, who as far as I know has never sent a player to Rutgers. Currently, their head coach is Tariq Holman, a former Randolph HS player who became a decorated player for the Iowa Hawkeyes. Do not know if Holman played on the Randolph team that beat Montclair in the "Greatest high school game ever played".

All responses that say high school coaches have little impact on where their players go to college will be directed to /dev/null.

Randolph had a storied program back in the 70's and 80's. We had two outstanding Randolph players on our Rutgers programs. Mike Kizis ('71) was an All-East tackle for us and in about 1976 Tim Blanchard was a middle linebacker for us.

You bring them all in 3 or 4 at a time . When the other coaches see that we don't just play favorites we earn their respect. Ash and friends know what they are doing.

Most of the good football players in the Randolph/Mendham//Chester area wind up at Delbarton. They usually can afford it.
