Rutgers Men’s Lacrosse Announces Newcomers

With fall practice starting up, Rutgers men's lacrosse announced the new members of the program for the 2019-20 season. With the school year beginning, 18 new student-athletes joined the team.

There are 14 freshmen joined by four transfers. The class is made up of six midfielders, five defensemen/long-stick midfielders, three attackmen, three goalkeepers and one faceoff specialist. Four New Jersey natives are joined by two from New York and representatives of Texas, Maine, Rhode Island, Massachusetts, Michigan, Colorado, Vermont, Virginia, Oregon and Maryland.

A lot of competition for goalie to replace Edelmann. Hopefully one of the transfers steps up so Groff can RS.
