A survey of 49 pharmacies within a 50-mile radius of New Brunswick found that many stores reported to have the serogroup type B meningococcal vaccine, Trumenba, in fact do not have the vaccine on hand.
Rutgers University-New Brunswick has urged incoming and returning undergraduate students, including transfer students, to get vaccinated for meningitis B before returning to school in the fall.
