one can only laugh
it wont matter for RutgersNewark but him not getting his feet wet before a tricky game against Howard hurts
Unreal, and I just got tickets for this game.As big is the news that Freeman sprained his foot 10 days ago. Seems like he's iffy for the game. Losing 10 days of practice hurts big time. Get ready for a lot of nail biters against weak OCC opponents and a couple embarassing doubl digit losses to low level teams.

Doorson has the foot injury, not Freeman.
Only at RU do you get suspended for actually playing your sport. I get it though, probably should've cleared any summer games with the team, especially ones with sponsors/"pay" attached.
Self reported.
Apparently one of the summer showcase games advertised themselves as an NCAA sanctioned game. As soon as it was found out not to be, RU self reported it and is sitting him out for the opener.
This is no a discipline issue or anything ridiculous.
. . .This is no a discipline issue . . . .

What other players played in this game I wonder?
Yup, I get that. But there must be a reason that it resulted in a suspension of the player. For instance, if he did nothing wrong and the event itself made the misrepresentation, there'd be no reason to discipline the player. We could guess. Maybe the players are given instructions about these tournaments and the procedure to properly clear them, and Sanders didn't follow that procedure. No idea. But there was something.NCAA violation
