For the 10th consecutive year, Rutgers University football players volunteered at a Somerset Hills YMCA program for children with autism and their families, scoring lots of points as they played with kids, posed for photos and left behind many happy smiles.

My sons have volunteered at that program for the last several years. It is a great program run by a loyal RU alum, Art Raynes, who does a fantastic job. The RU players are always a big hit with all of the kids -- those with and without special needs!

This was the 10th consecutive year that Scarlet Knight players attended the program, dubbed "Saturdays in Motion." The program, designed specifically for children with autism and their siblings, allows attendees to participate in recreational activities such as gymnastics, swimming and games.
