Its literally just math lol. Go an look at the stats and see what geo would do with those same shots. Any teams go to player puts up 30+ points with 28 shots, 14 3’s and 9 FT attempts. Again, VERY good college player but saying hes a generational talent is laughable

By no means is this taking a shot at Geo Baker, hes a quality player. However he has never scored 30 in his career at Rutgers on teams that have lacked the ability to score and have had a combined record of 32-36 and a winning percentage of 47%.

All of these teams he has played on have been desperate to put the ball in the basket and would pray to shot as accurately as MP did last night and score in the fashion he did. Truly feel bad for anyone trying to take away anything from his performance, it was brilliant and clearly not at 100 percent.

Ru seton hall this year isnt going to be competitive rutgers without an consistent outside threat wont be able to score.

Geo has also never taken 28 shots in a game lol. The most shots hes ever taken in a game was 20 in the Big Ten tourney as an 18 year old true freshman against a top 5 Purdue with carsen edwards on him and he dropped 25. He shoots 8 more shots, how many points does he have as an 18 year old? Come on man

Just mixed it up with some of the other recent wins. Point is Seton Hall is NIT ok this year, but let's all just chill until they get bounced in the NCAA tournament early because they didn't really deserve to be there just had inflated confidence and fresher legs from their weak conference. They'd still lose a vast majority of their road games in the Big Ten. I can't wait until this Seton Hall crap is over, it really is crap. They will soon be far in Rutgers rear view mirror and certainly not making tournaments, enjoy the last year of any sort of relevance.

Let’s try and have a winning season before we start knocking other teams (that are better than us).

It didn't appear to me like Powell's ankle bothered him at all. Willard had claimed he would miss at least several games. I believe it was all a smoke screen to throw off MSU. Powell walked off the court by himself against Stony Brook. He was back playing in 5 days. Obviously the injury wasn't very serious at all. J.P. Pelzman is a 100 % SHU man. Of course he defended SHU. What about Gill missing the nice shot by Hall and clobbering him right across the arm with no call. SHU had the game on their home court with everything in their favor and MSU still beat them. This was possibly their biggest test in ages yet we play MSU almost twice every year. We took them into OT just 2 years ago and missed the last shot in regulation at MSU. We get no respect at all for that from SHU.

Remind me again when the last time RU won a league season or tourney title or played in the NCAAs. RU is the new Rodney Dangerfield of men's basketball and just gets no respect (and for good reason)
