Should Rutgers Basketball Start Requiring Flu Shots?

"The Players need to take the Asian flu vaccine that I personally took to market approval over ten years ago, leading the research & development team like only I could. There are Massage Parlors on Rt 27 where I get it injected directly into my balls three times per month. I highly recommend everybody from the ages 5-95 do the same."

You guys are hilarious scolding these kids for going to Old Queens or a frat party cause they play a sport.

I’m sure geo and Ron and Caleb were out late they just also won so nobody cared
lol
The winning part matters

So they aren’t allowed to still be kids because they lose? You probably didn’t raise an 18 year old
I didn’t say that … they can do whatever they want to do off the court . They aren’t “kids” . They are professionals

I’m just saying anyone creating a thread about getting the flu shot in 2025 either has a political agenda or is desperate for a reason we’re losing

Kids can still enjoy their life

Also for what it’s worth, queens, (or any of the bars for the most part) would never let any of our guys in who were underage. It’s possible it’s changed but knowing all the owners, I doubt it. Anyone questioning if these kids care are insane. I don’t think I’ve ever seen someone who loves basketball as much as Ace. Dylan could’ve easily shut it down and nobody would’ve blamed him. They’re starting 4 freshmen with no real big man. No excuses, the standards should be higher than their record, but they aren’t losing from being at queens or because they don’t care.

We went out wayyyyy more than this team lol
No one cares what you do if you’re winning .
And no Rutgers team has won enough in the last 49 years .

If this team even had just 3 or 4 more wins you wouldn’t even see people complaining or inferring that partying is a problem.

Would be surprised if he does not have the flu vaccine and I am sure there is a push to get it for all athletes.

Flu vaccine though is really only marginally effective, CDC estimating ~34% effectiveness this year so far
It often makes it less severe even if it doesn’t prevent flu. 34% effectiveness is still pretty significant even though far from optimal.
