Should we (have to) have a CCG?

The big dumpster, I mean b12 is getting one...so their Motto will change from EVERY GAME MATTERS to EVERY GAME MATTERS PLUS ONE MORE[roll]

This is really the fault of the other conferences, who had the chance to ding this within the NCAA by not approving the change in rules that stated that a conference must have at least 12 members to have a CCG. Had they not done this, the B12 would be under more pressure to expand, which could set up a new round of conference realignment.

The Big 12 w only 10 teams previously the SouthWest Conference should just reduce to 1 or 2 teams. That will show'em.

I don't really see why that would trigger a new round of alignment. All they would be doing is calling up G5 teams, and they would still just be the same size as the other leagues. I don't see why any of the other conferences would feel the need to respond to that.

At this point that's true. If they take 2 or more G5 teams that's still realignment but will have an impact on whatever may follow once the GOR's run out or are challenged in court before hand.
