Just arrived in Florida last night, and now I'm sitting outside in 80-degree weather, sun shining down on me, and as I was thinking about the weather up in Jersey I thought to myself, "Wow, my timing is tremendous, and it doesn't bother me at all that there are record-setting lows up where you are." Enjoy.

You can have all of the 80 degree weather you crave: I like it much better when it's cold.

It amazes me that you do stuff like this, knowing full well that at some point in the future you will be punished for it.

Yeah, make sure he has no idea what he is drinking at the next tailgate...he gets the "special" homemade shot

Awesome day today! Pool temp up to 80, a little brandy, and a cuban cigar. Doesn't get any better than this, unless it's a football game at

Me, too. I picture Mr. and Mrs. Screw saying rude or semi-rude things to me while I stand in between them at their tailgate (which is always too short, for some reason), and then Mr. returns to talking with Herd while I hang out with the Mrs. until she has to break down the tailgate all by herself.

As for the opie, YesRutgers may have hit the nail on the head. Fanu, OTOH, missed the mark, but he can be forgiven because he lives in natural beauty all year round, what with Washington state being what it is and all. I have a nice workable sunburn in less than a day, FYI.

I am in Fla ... havent seen snow for 34 years...no plans to see it...ever again....
today was 78F with low humidity..and the nights are like 55F
the "mountain air" in my hometown Rochester NY was 19F yesterday...no thank you

I agree with RaRa who is probably in The Villages a scant 25mi from me...
the weather IS perfect

. When have I ever said a rude or semi rude thing about you?
Your short time at tailgates is due to you & your schedule not us. Tailgates start at 7am.
MrScrew always helps break down...its setting up he does not participate in because he is not there.
Your OP about the weather is just mean.

I feel like I just met Taylor Swift, and I must say, I am completely fulfilled.

I was in Central NJ, outside walking my dog, when you posted this. It was 54 degrees and sunny.

I mean, seriously, how can you be a football fan and not like 54 degrees and sunny?

FIFY.

I'd prefer to have another week or two of cold and snow, but there's something to be said about a sunny, crystal-clear spring day less than a week after a big snow day.

Have fun in Fla, RaRa (you'd better, I get the idea you might get pelted mercilessly with oranges when you get back : )

I'm so over this weather. It makes me think impure thoughts of places like San Diego, which I know is totally wrong so I wind up all conflicted and shit...

so it's 8:30pm. you should be done with dinner, your post dinner glass of sherry, and a rousing game of Canasta and getting ready for bed about now, right?

My wife and I have considered moving to different areas of the country a few times and we always come back to loving four seasons the best. Both of our parents lived in Florida and the heat/humidity for way too long is not something either of us care for. Besides, the place is FLAT!!!!!
The good thing is that we are capable of leaving any time we want to go any where we want when ever the weather here is not to our liking. Nothing better than having the best of anywhere whenever you want it.

I drove from Pensacola to Miami over the course of 7 days a few weeks ago and saw no sun..
. You :sunglasses: Me

My mom has a lemon tree on her property that gives birth to about 300 lemons a day. So come on down and it's lemons for everyone!!

I have to respectfully disagree. I know RaRa well and I can guarantee you he's totally sincere.

It's not his biggest flaw, trust me. :)
That was one of your most artful collections of words, especially since my biggest flaw, which no one else on here would know about, involves removing a cowgirl from your presence.

I still don't understand that behavior. Some part of me feels that it's very wrong.

I'll have you know that I ordered BTN last time I was here and am watching it now. Of course every clip of anything shows RU getting abused, so Canasta is preferable. But real fans don't punk out when they're roughing it, so I'll be flipping between BTN and South Park. Temperature is down to 75 now, BTW.

have you put your son or daughter on your rooftop or on your oven in order to gain some remedy for their illness, or have you burned grain where a dead many has lain, or tied a dead man’s belt in knots in order to harm someone, or have you clapped together over a corpse the combs which little women use to tease wool, or after a corpse has been carried from its house, have you cut the cart that carried it in half and had the corpse carried between the two halves of the cart?

That's right. His biggest flaw is not having introduced me to his lovely Arkansas friend. Yet.
