So when Franklin gets fired

Everything else people have been over a million times but wrt this, this was something the letterman were doing, getting together for the 50th anniversary of Joe's 1st game. It was not something originally put together by PSU. Yes the university supported it but to say the intent was to honor Paterno instead of the team is not correct. I'll give you, the line of Joe being honored vs the team being honored is a blurry one but to stretch it to Sandusky, who I didn't know (and I bet most people don't know) was a GA in '66, is off. There was 0 mention of Jerry, 0 clips in the video montages, this had nothing to do with him. I mean seriously a GA. I can't tell you who they are for this season, let alone 50 years ago.
Even without adding in Sandusky, I don't think honoring Paterno is the right thing to do. He had knowledge of what Sandusky was doing, and instead of having him arrested for molesting childern, he covered up the crimes for the benefit of the football program.

If you know a guy is ****ing kids and you cover that crime up, enabling him to continue ****ing kids for decades, you're a piece of shit, no other way to say it.
