So where are the students tailgating now?

??? not much talk after The Alley was shuttered
are they back in blue?

Rumors of an announcement last week. Oddly quiet from the University. A shame they can't come up with some new rules and try again. Police the problems and allow the other 98% to enjoy a fun college event

yeah I thought when they sent that letter out they were working something out for Michigan..well not even for Illinois either..too bad. Students were way late for the Michigan game, will they even show for this one

Noon start. We should just prepare the board now. It'll be a small'ish, very late arriving, student section and very late arriving rest of stadium. Bottom line.

I asked Sarah about the Alley when I saw her last week. She said they were "still working on something"

If I was a student still - I'd set up camp with my buddies somewhere on college ave and that would be it no matter what the University did.

I tailgated in the blue lot for the UM game. Students made a strong showing in the first few rows there. The extended Peppers family, by the way, were our tailgate neighbors. Lots of Peppers. Loud. Proud. Good spirited. All decked out in UM wear, customized for their cause.
