Thought it'd be 7-8. Not sure what we get for it being at The RAC but man, we better bring it from the jump because you know Md. will be. They'll be focused & hungry after getting embarassed against UM. Gotta get that dog mentality again. Our players need to convince themselves that Md. thinks they're gonna waltz into our building and beat us.

Maybe Pike should show them this clip in the locker room before jump:

No One...

The guy I get all my info from has a model that projects spreads to find value. He had us -6.8, so he leans slightly our way.

Potential trap game, but that being said every cupcake game is a potential trap game and we destroyed all of them. My gut is because of the great leadership of this team I don't see us having trap games or games we are not up for. I just feel this team has a lot of dog in them.

But Maryland is not a cupcake, sweetie.

The Terps have won six of eight in Piscataway, including the last meeting in Jan of 2022 by a final of 68-60. That is reason to worry and explains the spread!

Well aware Maryland is not a cupcake - but it is a trap game coming off beating Purdue. Trap games and Cupcakes both different sides of the same coin though - your team is having a mental breakdown, and not playin their best game.

Diff teams on both end, diff coach on their end. Historicals play no part here.

If we play our D and even a average offensive night we are good to go.

But these trap games are what separates the good teams from the elite teams.

Let's be Elite.

Maryland has a similar record to Rutgers and probablywould be the favorite at home.Willard knows the difficuly winning at the RAC based on time at Seton Hall.

I can't make the game tonight which worries me. It seems like every home game I miss we lose (Seton Hall, Wisconsin last year).

Not directly, but it motivates knowledgeable betters, which thereby moves the spread.

Line shopping and calculating EV is quite literally the only “research” that you need for any sport, all the other info has already been factored into the lines wayyyy before you got ahold of it.

This would be a no bet for me with Marylan in a prime bounce back show some heart game after an embarrassing loss and Rutgers in an emotional let down spot

Make it happen boys. Be driven. Be focused
