Tidbits - Drexel (next opponent)

Bryant lost by 2 to #181 Brown, lost by 2 @ #69 Rutgers and beat #279 Cornell by 1. Yes, I am propping them up as a team that will not finish in the 300's again. In fact I'd make a $50 Scarlet R wager they improve 30+ spots on their #327 ranking from year ago. Bet?

Grasso spent 8 years at Iona under Cluess. From what I saw in that game he had a well coached team.

290 doesnt make them a good team why would i bet that. Point is we sucked that game and as usu we have fans trying to say the other school is better than expected. This happens every season

I actually see the SF Austin game coming up as dangerous, this program has had some success with 4 NCAA appearance in the last 6 years including wins over WVU and Baylor. They dropped off last season but i just have a feeling about this game.

NJIT is my trap game

I don't think Bryant is going to be that bad. I was impressed with HC Grasso. He took Bryant from 3-28/2-16 the year before he got there to 10-20/7-11 in his first season. They looked to me like a team that could take another step forward. Time will tell.

Going from 327 to 290 does show improvement, and fits in the not "that bad" category.... "that bad" meaning sub-300. Compared to us, though, the difference between 275 and 325 should be largely irrelevant - them being 275 doesn't excuse single score game on our part.

If we schedule NJIT, why not replace them on the schedule with FGCU, play the game in Southwest Florida, give Rutgers fans in the area a chance to turn out, and maybe gain recruiting benefit/exposure in Florida? Michigan State has scheduled FGCU more than once in the past. Not sure if they’ve played them in Florida, though.

Peanut$ to a Big Ten program. 5K attendance for NJIT? Doubt it. No recruiting benefit. More of the same. Same old. Same old.

@Greene Rice FIG --Bumping my Bryant post from earlier in the season where I stated they looked to me to be a pretty good team, and predicted they would improve 30+ spots on their #327 ranking from a year ago. Currently Bryant is 7-4 and #242. 85 spots better! I think Grasso is a pretty good HC.

I may be a bit premature, but:
