To all the Flood supporters

This board and those on it have zero influence over the decision making process for the administration. People are venting because they are frustrated. Free boards always tend to be dominated by the most vocal and obnoxious group of fans. I would rather have a new coach next year, but that is not happening. We are going to at least split the next two and might win both and get a bowl game. Rutgers is not firing a coach for going 4-8/5-7 after taking the team to a bowl game in his first three years. Those who believe they will have no understanding of this university and the historic role of athletics and how decisions are made and funding. So both sides need to relax and enjoy the next two or three games, because college football is a short season and the off season is very long.

Oh crap. We're (RU) screwed. Damn.

I hope going into the Big Ten changes some of the "historical perspective" a few point out about not firing a "winning" coach. If a coach is safe with blow out losses once out of every three games, we won't be the new Indiana we will be something so pathetic that the Big Ten has never seen before.

It is not being like TTFP to demand a losing cheater be shown the door...they did the opposite...

The only similarity is the disgraceful player rap sheet.

If you can put a % chance on it Nuts, what would it be? I'm asking what you think, not what you want if you can separate the two lol.

Based on what, how, and from whom in the different corners of my "Rutgersverse," I have heard things, I would put it 80% gone right now.

The acceptance of the current situation by so many on here blows my mind.

I don't think it's acceptance. I believe even though the numbers have dropped significantly there are still people who feel not all that's gone on is KFs fault. That in some regard he was dealt a bad hand this year. If you believe that the question then becomes has he performed up to an acceptable standard with everything he could/can control? I myself wrestled with that somewhat the past month plus even though every way I looked at it resulted in the same conclusion.

I would also point out you and others have often said "we" don't know everything about what has gone on like you folks do and that KF isn't the nice, caring guy he portrays. Don't you think if that was more public knowledge it would have a great affect on how his supporters feel? Finally, some people just have a problem calling for anyone to be fired. It's not in their makeup.

He dealt his own hand especially with the emailgate. He runs a lax program so it should not have been a surprise that kids got into problems. Just like the rumors of failed drug tests. There was no consequences for ignoring the rules.
He deceived a lot of people that he is a nice guy and runs a clean program. That's why so many liked him. But it was all a mirage.

The fact that he continues to lie about why he broke the rules tells me he isn't the character guy we thought he was. When he was suspended he said he didn't know about or misunderstood the policy he violated. He repeated that after he was reinstated and said it again to the announcers of the Michigan State game. Anybody with half a brain can read the results of the investigation and deduce that Fludd knew exactly what he was doing. Not only was he warned and told not to do it, he actually tried to cover his tracks.

He lied and continues to lie, high character guys don't do that. Unfortunately for him, that was his last redeeming quality.

Parsnips

When I search for parnsips in the near future I want this post to come up.

Is" Beating Up Flood" going to continue till the end of the season? It will happen or it won't. Repeating it won't make it happen.

Holy crap! We have had a cult like crowd defending him that were much worse than the posts today and this past few weeks. Another clown who can't admit how stupid he was supporting this coach.

I was probably the first that told everyone he was a terrible coach that was three years ago. Get rid of your season ticket like I did 2 years ago. Complaining won't do anything. I never thought he was a good coach and complained when he was the OL coach. I probably watched 4 games that last 2 years' don't want to get sick.

I noticed now that most fans now want the spread offense this year when I was preaching this about 4 years ago.

Yup because it makes them feel better as childish as it may be.

No, a lot of this stuff just makes me laugh. And since we don't have real football to discuss this season, I need to get entertainment from this somehow and there has been some comedic gold on here lately. BTW, I was 100% behind Flood and thought he could be here for 10 years until the Barnwell/Princeton report came out.
