Tom Crean Fired

The allure of home must be strong--

but UCLA is also one of the plum bball jobs in the country. Alford is going to be supplied with Ball brothers for the next couple of years and Bloomington is a nice college town but it's not exactly Bel Air.
The Ball kids are UCLA commits and not Alford's.

LSU is apparently also interested in Will Wade from VCU.

If Alford goes to Indiana, who ends up at UCLA? Could cause some more coaching dominoes. Would UCLA be interested in Archie Miller given Sean's success at Arizona? That would be interesting to say the least (Sean wouldn't be calling last second time outs anymore :sunglasses:).

Earl Watson is a good possibility for UCLA.

Will Wade to LSU is official.

I actually think he is going to be a dud. He succeeded off of Shaka's coattails and a watered down A10. I think his replacement will be in a difficult position, but it is still one of the best non-P5 jobs in the country.

Alford staying at UCLA. Gut feeling is Indiana hires Chris Holtmann. The other possibility is Archie Miller.
