Did you see the game tonight? Dawn Staley kicked his teamWhat a game!!! Hats off to Vic Schafer. I'm starting to think he may be the best coach out there right now.
Arella will be just fine in the WNBA, hopefully she gets to play for the Liberty @ Barclay Center in Brooklyn(I was born and raised near by). Would also love to see her and Benijah Laney both CVS/Rutgers products!I have loved watching Arella during her time at RU. That being said I don’t feel she has the speed of movement to make it in the pros. Hope I am dead wrong and will gladly eat large crow.

Yes she did, as I hoped she would. I've always been a D.Staley fan back to player days. She has a much more talented roster than Vic inherited.Did you see the game tonight? Dawn Staley kicked his team
Another example of just what you said earlier. The fun and team chemistry they play with is notable. That second half was a thing of beauty by Stanford and they seem to be having so much fun too! Great team chemistry especially given what they’ve been through this season being nomads. I am really rooting for them to win it all.
Yes. Surprising, isn't it?Wow! Has it been four straight loses for UConn in the semis? Sounded like Ryan Ruocco just said that.
Tara has it going right now with a young core and lots of depth. Recruit a couple of strong guards and they will be in the mix to reach the Final Four in the next 3 years, at least. If she feels good, keep going. Maybe she adds another title or two.I'm wondering how old she is and whether or not it might be good to retire, going out on top.
She is the same age as Geno - 67. Only 3 major program coaches are over 67 - Doug Bruno is 70, Gary Blair 75 and Viv between them.I'm wondering how old she is and whether or not it might be good to retire, going out on top.
Very unlikely that Tara retires. She has already spoken about it, at least in passing. A lot of talent coming in.There's talk on the RebKell boards that Kate Paye, Stanford's coach in waiting, is getting pursued by Washington as a HC. I would not be shocked if Tara retires especially since she has other interests outside of basketball. Her heir apparent is also the top recruiter and she would be leaving the program in good hands with a full cupboard, unlike Muffet, who left ND in a rebuild situation after the recent final 4 / championship run.
She should have passed the ball there were 2 girls wide open underneathI like Adia but she blew it on that final play. Even her baby knew Tara would double and triple McDonald on that last play. She should have set up a double or triple screen for McDonald or used someone else for the last shot
