... and it seemed very strange to see Eli Carter wearing a BC uniform. I think he is BC's leading scorer, but seemed the same to me as when he was at Rutgers - a few incredible shots and tough play, combined with some inexplible shots

1. Does anyone know the backstory of why he left Florida for BC?

2. Can anyone remember another player who played for three different D1 teams?

He graduated and had the option of staying or playing elsewhere. Probably would have stayed at UF but Billy Donovan left for the OKC Thunder

Trey Lewis currently in his "post graduate" season at Louisville previously played for Penn State and Cleveland State. Ike Nwamu currently in his "post graduate" season at UNLV previously played at Cleveland State and Mercer.

Why is Carter at BC? Florida does not offer the graduate program that Carter enrolled in.

Carter's scoring game is little changed from his RU years, still a 38% FG shooter. And as you noted he still takes a lot of bad shots mixed with some hot streaks. His stats show he's dishing the ball a bit more at BC. Always thought he and Mack could've been a real good combo if they stayed together.

I don't know what grad program Cater is enrolled in, but I don't think that he liked the way the new UF staff planned to use him if he stayed. I got the impression that the Florida staff would have liked to have him, but did not get the feeling that they thought he was a must have.

And he is playing on a team that right has not won a game in the conference?

That probably doesn't matter to him at this point. He considered BC, Georgetown and UNLV. It's not like any of them were championship contenders. This season is about Carter showcasing what he can do to scouts so that he can get a good contract overseas.

Rutgers own Omari Grier played for 3 D1 teams..FAU, Bradley and now Rutgers..I'm sure there are others too
