What a change from 3 years ago - Senior Day

A big win over Penn state that got us into the NCAA Tournament!
The chants from the crowd to Dylan as a high school sophomore to come to Rutgers ! Then pike goes all in on in on recruitment! It’s a soap opera. This board celebrated that Harper went to Indiana on a visit and appeared to troll them.
As if Bergen County wasn’t close enough , Pike and Knight go overseas to see Harper as they were so “Hungary” for a commitment .
Then Harper does committ and comes to Rutgers to give us our best recruiting class in history! In any sport !

What could have been such an iconic moment when reflecting on Rutgers basketball, Harper adored on his brother’s Senior Day, now doesn’t even get a mention. It is crazy how this Rutgers story is probably going to end ! If we don’t get 3 wins in the BTT and make the semifinals , this goes downs as the most disastrous and disappointing season in Rutgers sports history. Another Senior Day is upon us and we just want the damn season to mercifully end.

No this is the most disastrous RU hoops season. Pike the defense coach just posted the worst RU defensive effort in 25 plus years.
He is struggling to make the big ten tournament. He has 2 generational talents and the whole team has quit on him.

I'd say two years, not three.

There have been several JuCo players (and transfers from 4-year schools) that gave their heart and soul for two years while on the banks.

Yes and most became Rutgers graduates.
The point of the whole thing was supposed to be celebrating someone that was at your school

well the 3 other guys were one year rentals as well....lets not fool ourselves....more people want to see Ace/Dylan out there than these other 3 who all saw limited minutes...why fanfare them

Looks like Rutgers is honoring the academic achievements as with the term “graduates”
I got no problem with that, academics can mean something .
I do wonder where martini will hang his Rutgers degree in his future offices compared to where he hangs his Princeton degree
