Who did Willard hire..

I had more of a problem with Gaze going back to Australia right after that great season. Not a student. And Batts you seem like a good guy.

Gaze was a pro player before seton hall or something like that . It seemed shady he was eligible

No matter what SHU will be very good next season adding the big shot blocker from Florida State. The RAC will be rocking when SHU visits. It could be one outstanding game. SHU only beat us by 6 at the PRU Center this season and our frosh were still in the learning stage at that time. Thiam and Kiss played a lot in that game. Harper, McConnell and Johnson improved so much as the season went on.

I predict the SHU game to sellout over a month in advance , especially if it's scheduled on a weekend (hopefully a late Saturday afternoon or evening)

And yes SHU will be a good team.
They lose a veteran glue guy in Nzei but gain the transfer center, two promising frosh and most likely a grad transfer.

RU should be improved too as long as Gene's knee is healed, with the additions of Mulcahy & Young
and maybe a grad transfer.

Will Pike put Young on Powell?

Powell should be coming back to have a monster senior season.

The match-ups for this contest at The RAC are extremely intriguing .

Williard cheated, hired coaches/handlers to get recruits and still almost got fired.

That first year was a disaster.
Wasn’t until the sophomore year of the “acquired” recruits that SH made the NCAA tournament.

Sorry, facts are facts. Regardless of who says them and what team they root for.
Fake news! LOL

It was perfectly legal and within the rules. He parlayed it into 4 and maybe 5 straight NCAA appearances.
Yeah you’re right, the payment history in the FBI report to Whitehead completely and totally legal. You’re right

You guys would be giving Willard a Ticker Tape Parade down George Street if he were your coach.

Trust me id sign up for what seton hall has had for the past 4 years. Doesnt change the fact they cheated to get there. I have zerooooo problem if we cheated to get ahead too. Pay players, parents, coaches, idgaf if it brings success

Nothing that's been reported or they've been accused of.

Somebody in the Driveway League give you the inside scoop ?

Many moons ago, Tim Thomas went to Villanova after the staff there found a spot on the bench for his uncle. Prior to that, he was (reportedly) headed to Seton Hall. Willard and SHU did what they had to do, and it ain't pretty -- but it's within the rules, therefore not "cheating." Powell is the best player SHU has had since Dehere and RU since Douby. Some nice young players on the team and some on the way for 2020. Willard and Lyons did what needed to be done to get the ball rolling, or one/both of them would have been out the door.

Which Willard would that be?
Before 2014? Probably not.
2014-2015 season was still disastrous.
Starting with 2015-2016 season? Yup he has much better results than any Rutgers coach has had recently.

Looking at it, he never even had a 4star recruit prior to 2014.
Then he got a 5star AND a 4star.
Hmm....wonder what happened all of a sudden with the 2014 class?
I wonder if Willard has an "recruiting" tips he could share.......

2010

13-17 (7-11 12th in BE)

2011
7 recruits (seven 3star)
21-13 (8-10 10th - made NIT 2nd round)

2012
1 recruit (one 3star)
15-18 (3-15 13th)

2013
4 recruits (one 3star, 3 unranked)
17-17 (6-12 8th)

2014
5 recruits (one 5star, one 4star, three 3stars)
16-15 (6-12 t7th)

2015
