Silly poll. Obviously Dylan was better

Agree. This is silly. Of course Dylan was better. Still doesn’t mean ace won’t be a great pro. But Dylan’s was unquestionably the better player this year

Ace has a god-tier mid range jumper. Dylan has a god-tier dribble drive game. Dylan has far better ball handling so gets the nod.

Aces 3 pt. shot is also better, and if Dylan's ball handling is better, which I think it is not, its not better by much. Neither played much defense which is one of the many reasons we weren't very good.

Ace’s game against Indiana was an all time college performance. 16-29 (4-8 from 3) for 39 pts in a game with no Dylan. Dylan’s best games were in Vegas and they weren’t as good as Ace in Indiana.

Sadly, in retrospect, we would’ve been a better team with only one of them. They didn’t play very well together and probably kept the other player from truly growing into an alpha role.

All I can say is it was a very special 3 month career on the Banks for both of them. True Rutgers men to the end and I am grateful for their contributions. These are special times that we should all remember, as the future may be a little rough.

Did Ace lead the nation in long 2 attempts? Why does a top 5 pick have to take so many long 2's?

Going 16-29 for 39 points is not a special game. He had 8 free throw attempts so that's essentially 39 points in 33 possessions.

Ace can shoot from wherever he wants.

But that’s the part of his game that needs the most polish.

Dylan had the ball in his hands most of the time so it was much easier for him to control the game and look good in the process. I think Ace was very poorly served in our system. We did almost nothing to get him open or get him any good looks close to the basket. Ace typically had to come out 35 feet from the rim just to get someone to get him the ball, which naturally leads to lots of long shots. He will benefit greatly going to the NBA and playing in a motion offense with lots of screening and cutting.
