what a shame. Cannot get a simple rebound nor make a simple layup. I counted 6 uncontested missed lay ups and 3-4 only slightly contested. Turnovers without shots down the stretch was bad. Eddie has to have all 4 guards at foul line not send 2 guys down court outside 3 point line. He has to emphasize all guards must rebound. Corey and DANIELS and Williams have to rebound when they are in and Foreman , Laurent and Lewis have to be taught to box out then dive to the rebound. We lost because of simple fundamentals today which is sad because boy is Indiana beatable. 4-5 games now that fundamentals cost us. All I can say is it is a shame. This team is limited , not enough talent, but effort on defense and rebounding and making damn lay ups will keep us in most games.

Daniels two drives early in the shot clock against 3 defenders in the last 3 minutes both of which resulted in TOs were infuriating. Eddie says nothing, which is even more frustrating!

Indiana was beatable because they didn't play a good game but there is a reason why they won. They had enough talent to hit from 3 as the game wore on and they cleaned up on the boards. I can lament a loss here, the better team won this game even if Indiana tried to give it away

Indeed, this game was ultra frustrating. All those shots that hung on the rim and fell off. Uggggghhhh! With Blackmon not playing, I really thought we could pull this one out. Oh well...

10 minutes in we gave up 25 points and I thought we were looking at 100. We really tightened up in those 10 minutes. Bryant foul trouble helped.

Eddie didn't need to say anything. He put him on the bench on the next stoppage.

We played our B game and did a few things wrong and still played close. That is progress.
We played like a C game at best. Indiana played very sloppy and were a turnover machine. 5 minutes of bad ball from the under 16 timeout to the under 12 timeout , Indiana went up 10 and that was the difference in the game. With this team so limited and lacking enough talent, it is damn frustrating to lose another close one the team could have easily won, kinda like St.John's, Wake Forest, Monmouth and Creighton .

Overall, I was pleasantly surprised with how well we played and were able to stay within striking distance and come back from several deficits.

Indiana's 3s really killed us (why do we seem to always leave guys wide open?)

The other biggest things to me were the embarrassing # of missed layups, and the awful turnovers scattered amongst the team. Not just regular turnovers, but so bad my brother in law (a Michigan grad) was laughing out loud. Driving in and just dribbling out of bounds, driving in and going up but not having any idea what to do with the ball, throwing passes directly to the other team.

That stuff has to get cleaned up pronto.

Other than that, the game made we think we will have a chance in some of our games.

However, I don't think Indiana is very good or has good team chemistry at all. And they were missing one of their best players, so their is a little caution there.

Tough schedule ahead.
Just hoping to see progress and improvement in areas that Eddie should be able to clean up as we go along.

I thought RU played hard-----hope to see a continuation of it against Wisconsin.

Probably a good time to play them as they're struggling.
