Women's Soccer a 2 seed

hopefully they can get back on track quickly...playing home games is great with a 10-0-1 record this year. And although they'll never admit to looking ahead, they may get the chance to avenge the B1G Championship defeat in the National semis!

Go RU!

Freakin' Virginia again!

Regardless, this is fantastic, and well-earned!

Yea, Virginia as always is awesome and probably favored to win it all, but if we make it that far we don't play them until the fourth match...and they did finally lose a game last week.

I'm assuming that if RU wins on Friday, we'll host the second round game, since neither Hofstra nor Georgetown is seeded. But what happens after that? Are the 3rd and 4th round games hosted by the higher/highest seed?

Also, the tournament has 64 teams. How long has it been that large? Will the men's field also be 64?

Thanks.

Looking at the bracket, the 2nd and 3rd rounds are the same weekend. May have those games hosted at the seeded team's home site. So, Rutgers wins round 1, could have Rutgers-GTown, ND-Conn games at RU. Certainly would make more sense then having the ND-UConn winner fly from ND to NJ for the games on Sunday.
