1) growth game from Dylan where Pike (after only five games) inches closer to simply handing him keys and sends him onto the court; Dylan and no one else runs the offense;
2) greater intensity, shot selection, getting to rim, maturity from Ace;
3) Eights pts, 6 boards from EO;
4) for Lathan to show greater understanding of diverse options when he gets ball in post; D just takes time;
5) something positive from Jeremiah and Tyson;
6) controlled offense and absolute dogs on D and getting to 50/50 balls from Derckack (sp) and JMike;
7) minutes will be big factor, but I’ll call minimum of four boards from Zach;
8) PJ continued contribution;
9) 75% on FTs;
10) a W

Bailey and Harper score 45 points and Rutgers holds Notre Dame offensive rebounds to less than ten.

Pike shorten the rotation
No JMike
Much less Jwill
Win
Williams played the 2nd best of any RU player against Kennesaw St, 1-4 FG aside (to Harper ... Ogbole played 3rd best) - he's going to get MORE playing time, not less. Possibly at the expense of Derkack ...

Bailey is NOT going to have his minutes reduced - and nor should he. He's going to have games where his shots do not fall - we just saw one. And because he is not going to reduce the volume of his shots (scorers keep shooting, its what often makes them scorers), in those games the RU offense will be much less efficient. It's what we signed up for.

Bailey becomes more complete. Gets to the rim, rebounds, plays D, adds to his assist total which now stands at 1. More shots for Hayes.

1) JMike, Derkack, and JWill limited to one wide-open 3-point attempt each. If they make it, they can take another open look from deep, that’s all.
2) More minutes and shots for Hayes.
3) Refs send Dylan to the line when he gets fouled driving to the rim (he had 0 foul-shots at KSU).
4) Everybody within striking distance crashes the defensive boards.
5) Ace scores 20 points efficiently, grabs 5 rebounds, and blocks 2 shots.

1-4 aside lol or all the times he gambled on a steal or press and we gave up a layup or open jumper because he can’t play team D

Pike will play him but with this team it’s a bad fit. Bench him or give him 6-12 min when Dylan is off the floor

Who is getting those extra minutes?

70%+ free throw shooting
less opponent open threes while we make ours
