I would also take Glory in a Folkstyle match, Raimo in a Freestyle match. However do not think it matters as I have heard Glory has it narrowed down to two schools and RU is not one of them. Raimo is a potential "get" for RU.

Raimo did not beat Angelo in wrestle offs, Angelo transferred right after his Freshman year, so Raimo was not at HP yet.

Angelo and Glory went 2-2 against each other as Frosh, at 106, hardly a preview of who will be better in college.

While it would possibly help get Nick if Lou came to RU? I doubt it, Lou is not a D-1
wrestler so I doubt Nick is going to factor that into his decision.

Raimo has beat Angelo since 3rd grade -both went to Scorpions- and they wrestled off season before GA transferred, so in effect theres your wrestle off. (And why else would a state champ transfer) The premise is the same- GA couldnt beat NR. GA beat PG twice.
Folkdtyle would be good match. Glory keeps coming and NR sometimes depends too much on throws/pancake.

There are plenty of "Non D-1" wrestlers on D-1 rosters. If Lou is willing to come to RU and work hard for no money I would welcome him.

This is disappointing. I kept hearing on here we were in it with him. It's time to break through and land these elite recruits. Is this a Buxton thing? Its really gonna sting if he goes to Lehigh.

His camp list reads like a who's who of top NJ wrestlers who didn't pick Rutgers. Not to mention the wall around Blair. I know you have said it makes you nervous, and it makes me nervous too, but I really hope Malcolm Robinson signals a changing of the guard.

I would say JVB and Correnti underperformed a bit. Some wrestlers just aren't skilled at freestyle though. I get it.

They had a really good day. Most of the guys don't have a lot of freestyle history. Ash and Grello have made world teams so there is that. It's very good summer work so I'm glad to see most of the team there. Ash has Zachel first then the the winner of Thorn and Brock. That is a hell of a road just to get the 2 time Nat champ Heil who has beaten Ash 3 years in a row at Nationals. Although I do like his chances at freestyle since on his feet is his best position.

Heil is something as he just beat Ryan Pomrinca, a Somerville High boy and now Lehigh 5-4. I would love to see AA get another shot at Heil but he has 2 tough guys before he has that chance. Grello gets the Lehigh kid who has TF'd everyone. Gravina gets the 2016 NCAA champ. Not easy here.
