The SHU win was certainly great and gave us a lot of props. Of course, it was our arch instate rival to boot. But, sh^tting the bed after that with two terrible losses has certainly caused all that celebration to evaporate into the usual uncertainty that we all are used to with this program.
So, we have what happened or would you prefer to have done what was expected against SHU and won the games we are supposed to win thus preserving the good vibes we were all having?

Lol.

Easiest question. No need to call a friend, or do a 50/50.

Beat SHU.

The team should rebound. A lot of teams have been in our place in college basketball.

Couple things fixed, and there will be a lot of competitive basketball at the RAC going forward. If they are not fixed, many of the issues won't exist past this year.

No brainer. I'd rather beat SHU than any other team on our schedule.
I've thought about this point a lot the last week. I agree that beating SHU and losing these last two is better than the opposite. But it is a sliding scale. We can't go 1-28 with a lone win being SHU and feel good about it. Time to man up and play some hoops again like we were the first 13 games.

If the goal is for a winning season,I would take two wins against Stony Brook and Hartford.Rutgers now needs 6 B1G wins for a winning season.

Very short sighted.. Nobody would care that we beat Hartford or Stony Brook, and for that matter nobody really cares that we lost to them either. Many people in the state noticed that we beat Seton Hall.

It's important to beat Seton Hall. It just is. Sure, it doesn't feel as good now, but the crowd that was there will remember it. The fans who watched on TV will remember it. Based on crowd and TV, those other two games barely exist.

If we were at a better stage in our development, then sure, a hard-fought loss to a ranked team and beating cupcakes would be more useful to us, but right now -- and most years, in fact -- I would much rather beat the ranked rival and deal with the irritation of the other two.

I would rather have beat Stony/Hartford and be 11-5 than 10-6. The win changed the team and not in a good way. I think we would be better off heading into Wisconsin if we won the other 2 and lost to SHU...fragile confidence right now

The Seton Hall game could easily now be placed in the "blind squirrel finds a nut" category after following it up with TWO consecutive bad losses. I could live with the Stony Brook WTF close loss by itself but the second bad loss has put us on a downward spiral. For casual fans that don't attend or watch all the games (neither Stony Brook or Hartford were on TV), yes, the Seton Hall game probably means more but for diehards who are more focused on the big picture (W-L record, evidence of program building) the two losses were much more deflating.
