Season is definitely not over. If we get hot and everything breaks right the rest of the way, we can still be on the bubble for the B1G tournament.

He’s getting better and growing into it. People were always going to be hyper focused on his mistakes because of the reported size of his contract.

Nantz was great for so many years for March madness . But seemed like he mailed it in there the last few years and gave it up

The judge has given the House settlement preliminary approval and so the period has begun for past athletes to file claims. There have been objections to the terms of the agreement and the judge will rule on them in March. But none of the objections, as important as some of them are, affect the idea that the schools will start paying athletes directly.

Note also that, as the link says, litigation is moving forward on whether student athletes are "employees" for purposes of the Fair Labor Standards Act or the National Labor Relations Act. The House settlement may well affect that litigation.

You’re correct, it was junior year.
He had a brutal 2nd half of the season.
Could have been bad shoulder related,

It’s still unlikely but every path to upset Ohio State included wins by both Peterson and Shawver. Not having Olivieri stinks because he could keep 141 to a decision, but going to need to win a few toss ups the rest of the way. Might need some Soldano magic or a 6-4 bout split. There are some winnable matches throughout the night.

I evidently didn't make my point well. Even when the amount of precip is high, it often falls at the shore as rain, freezing rain, or sleet rather than as snow because the ocean's influence raises the air temperature above freezing. So it was a little surprising to me that the precip in the Cape May area apparently was almost all snow.

The last one on Shawver was deserved but it’s amusing that takedowns are 4-0 Rutgers takedown attempts are about 7-1 Rutgers, Rutgers has won matches now 11-4 and 4-3, and Rutgers has 4 stall calls

Not sure about that. IIRC Martini was an early pickup and people raved about the pedigree of Acuff and Derkack, who certainly wasn’t an afterthought bc Pike’s recruiting his brother. The only player I’m aware of who Pike wanted and didn’t get was a lefty from Cal Santa Clara or Irvine some other Cal school. I don’t recall real interest in the two bigs Michigan got or the guy from Drexel. There’s the rumor that Sommerville insisted on no portal bigs be offered, and I believe that because Pike may have agreed as a hedge for a longer-term player.

Anyhow, tell me who Pike was looking to add but fell short.
