OT: Problems in UCLA Locker Room

Pike and Cronin had the same issues and concerns. They both made it known the effort wasn't where it needed to be. Pike at the last press conference said he did a bad job getting these ready to play. The right way to tell the team (and the media) the effort wasn't acceptable.
The overall team effort looked like it was there against Wisconsin.

Tickets for MSG: Michigan State

I was able to save my ticket to the Wallet. However I transferred tickets to my seatmates, they were able to accept the transfer but can't save it to their wallet because they get an error that the ticker is intended for me.

This happens with every transfer from Ticketmaster, I've researched and there are solutions online but none of them work.

So, they'll be using the Ticketmaster app to bring up their tickets at MSG. fingers crossed!

I don’t get people on Pike- he will be gone if we finish below .500

Next year's team will probably be no better than this year's, and I don't care how good a defense the play, if they have a losing season there isn't a chance in hell he gets an extension.
He can’t have a losing season but look at NW. they turned things around after reverting to dumpster status after finally breaking through. Pike has earned a chance to show he can again win through defense next year. Let’s see what happens before writing him off.

Eligibility Rules?

One time back when I taught Expos at Rutgers (I no longer work there). I saw Ron Jr. come in to Lucy Stone Hall B wing for a meeting with his professor. I believe it was his freshman year. I also had Billy Janzer and Jalen Jordan in my Expos class that year. They were both above average students in class discussion and did well in the class, especially Janzer. When I was a graduate student at BU I worked in the tutoring center for athletes where the D1 hockey players would have to come in and do two hours of homework. My impression from all of this is that, generally, D1 athletes in the pre-NIL era were doing their work and taking it as seriously as necessary. Not sure if it's still the same these days and I mostly have nothing but contempt for online classes.

Not sure why you have contempt broadly for online classes. They make a lot of sense for working professionals - especially at the graduate level. I do agree with you that certain types of courses are difficult to legitimize remotely in the AI era. I’m in agreement with you that the tests and assignments for them should at least be completed in person. That’s different though from saying lectures should never be presented in virtual format. You eliminate a lot of potential prospects based on life commitments by not having online options.

Wow. Curious to see if putting everyone (his players and his staff) on blast publicly works out.

The players are supposed to be student athletes. He should be working harder than them because this is his job. NIL definitely increases the expectations but they don't just play ball.
But are they really “student” athletes anymore? I’m sure the lesser players still are anyway.
