Love the Deauville - been going there for a long, long time more for the drinks and sunset than the food, which has always been mediocre and overpriced, probably because it didn't matter too much on account of the drinks and the sunset, lol. We go at least once every year during our OCNJ stay - when did the new owners take over (we were last there in Sept) and what's better about it?

Not a big drinker - never have been - but I like to get a good buzz on at a party and especially if there's dancing involved - but I can't drink beyond a certain point (about 6 drinks in 1-2 hours) without hurling and I know that point well and haven't hit it since I was about 21.

And that's what they did for our starting QB - Athan Kaliakmanis. You're conspiracy theory is falling faster than a bad souffle...lol.

Furthermore, as a raw, redshirt freshman, Ajani Sheppard was never going to see much time last year. He would not have been QB2 if Surace didn't get hurt. But keep making up stories.

Could've been worse. Could've lost to the Rockies, like somebody did.

Or could've lost like the Braves did. Ninth inning, down a run, tying run on second, one out. Batter lines a single to center which the CF fields cleanly on a hop. The third base coach gives the runner the sign to hold up at third. For some reason, the runner misinterprets this sign as "go back to second". I guess he thought the coach was telling him that the ball was caught on the fly, which it clearly was not. The runner tried to get back to second and was tagged out easily.

Sheppard was never the starter, so why would you tailor the offense for someone on the bench?

This may be a silly question. Do Div-1 college lacrosse staffs attend high school state playoff games? I know big-time programs recruit talent all over the map.

Ace was not frequently put in a position to excel here at Rutgers. His game seems a bit immature and the expectations were outlandish. He lost his closest comrade-in-arms at times early on, when team chemistry was still being developed, I'm afraid.

I will always appreciate Ace's early and unwavering commitment to RU!

NOW is your time...go shut up the pre-draft naysayers and knock them dead in the NBA, Ace! Make this comparison seem insufficient. I hope you always remember your time here fondly!

The rule in question (for those who can't get past the paywall), is that if a fly ball is juggled and then caught, the runners can advance as soon as the ball is initially touched.

The rule makes total sense. Otherwise, outfielders will master the art of intentionally juggling the ball while they are running it back into the infield. The sacrifice fly would become a thing of the past.
