Honest question….

I’m not a huge FB fan, more of a basketball fan, but I follow this board all the time.

My honest question, looking for your honest thoughts, is this: are we getting better? Is the program behind the scenes getting better to B10 quality? are the losses on the field part of the ‘process’ or are we never going to be able to compete in this league?

All I see are losses, so I just don’t know how to read all this.

Appreciate your thoughts.

Schiano outcoached

I get it that we are rebuilding but unlike his first year, Greg has been outcoached in every single game this year with the exception of BC.

The penalties, play calling, clock management in particular has been horrendous. The onside kick against Michigan and the end of half play calling today were amateur hour. The offsides and holding penalties have been inexcusable

QBR. I've read how it's calculated but feel it's a bogus stat.

Like so many other stats in other sports, this QBR stat is a head scratcher to me. Both QB's had identical stats yet the QBR are nowhere near in the same neighborhood. I thought Wimsatt was every bit as good as Thorne was. I also get the fact that Thorne added some rushing yards while Wimsatt had sacks {3} that minused yards. If you weren't there or watched on TV, you'd have thought Wimsatt was outclassed, that wasn't the case at all. Moving forward, I love the fact this kid hopefully has 3 more years on The Banks. https://www.espn.com/college-football/boxscore/_/gameId/401405138

OT: P.I. and Divorce in NJ

Hey all,

I know this board has a wealth of experience. I'm actually asking this for a friend as I'm hoping to give him best advice.

He has strong suspicion that his wife is having an affair. He wants to hire a PI to confirm suspicions.

My understanding of this situation is that he already has enough information to confront her, a pi only adds cost and there are no benefits in terms of divorce if he proves the spouse is cheating.

Is this correct? The situation will have no bearing on outcome of divorce settlement?
He is the main bread winner with kids in HS. Not sure if there is something else I should be guiding him to do.

Thanks
