Article is an interview in the Ledger with Pike about the improvements in free throw shooting over his tenure. My biggest takeaway? When our free throw shooting, people were emailing Coach about how bad it was and giving him ways to improve it. This blows my mind. Are people that stupid that they think they should email a lifelong coach and tell him things that he already knows? What a bunch of dopes with too much time on their hands.

So my question is: Have you ever emailed a member of the coaching staff? If so, were you complaining, badgering, complimenting trying to help, identify recruits? Did they respond?

I have never emailed anyone, not even during the Schiano 2.0 debacle as I thought it's not my place. Sure, I"m a fan and a small stake holder as a multiple sport season ticket holder but I feel there has to be some level of trust that they can get the job done. I also consider the AD different than coaches, so to me emailing Hobbs or his office about an issue is much more appropriate than the coaching staff directly.

Key was the Key for OSU last game. Hopefully he still isn't back to 100% and in good form tomorrow as this would be a big advantage for RU if he isn't. Wolf was finally used in those game and did a great job. I'd like to see him back above Dean in the rotation tomorrow. OSU is tough and physical. Wolf is a much better matchup against Key

Use our size and length. Crash the offensive boards. Contest 3's. Play physical and see if we get a friendly whistle since the refs must know we got the game stolen from us last time

That is a sad place right now. I kind of feel bad for them…….

This loss to the worst team in the big ten is inexcusable. Holtmann should have been given his walking papers after getting embarrassed by Oral Roberts.

Are Quad ratings determined at the end of the season and then retroactively applied to all teams/games over the course of a season, or are they locked in place at the time the games were played? For example, we beat Purdue when they were a Quad 1, but let's say they finish the season poorly and end up as a Quad 2. Is that a Quad 1 or Quad 2 win for us? TIA.

Specifically related to Pitt Football. He liked Tiquan’s visit to Pennsauken High and a recruit from Camden who received an offer from Pitt.

Something tells me he ends up on the Pitt staff and you can bet that turd Tiquan will have a cheesy tweet about it.

Throw the vault at him, let him coach safeties with an AHC title. Have Greg sell him on molding him to be a HC one day and rebuilding his reputation after Ole Miss' defensive struggles.

Move Lascari to the offensive side of the ball where we have plenty of open positions and he has a ton of experience already.

The schiano lbs thread got me thinking , what are some ironic or just weird things you’ve come across that just seems to be the way it is.
Here are a few :

Fat/obese people are good with diet advice . They really know how to lose weight and lose weight fast. Don’t look for the most in shape dude at the gym if you want some dieting tips, ask the fat guy . He knows.

Parking on the driveway and driving on the parkway.

Need some legal prescription drugs illegally because you don’t got a prescription? No problem. Hit up your local senior citizens community/building. These places always have a bunch of stuff floating around and deals can be made.

Workplace : don’t be too valuable . If you’re too valuable in your current position , the employer knows they can’t find someone better in that spot . So you won’t get promoted ! Ever!

Doctors office telling you “sorry, we don’t see sick people in the office for appointments”. Ummmm…ok

Maybe make Andy a Riot Squad member at halftime with a shirt and a plaque. Maybe the Riot Squad gives Andy a wooden block with a nail in it so Andy can use a hammer to pound the nail. Ask Andy to wear a banana suit and start a RRRRR UUUUU chant. Have Andy interview President Holloway and Pat Hobbs from the student section.
