Don’t know if this stat has been said, but BCs running backs had 15 carries for 25 yards (1.7 YPC). Take out a 20 yard run by Garwo, 14 carries for 5 yards, 0.4 YPC. I get BC has a young offensive line, but it’s still a talented line at a school known for producing good offensive linemen. Incredible effort by the Rutgers defense.

We are always tough against the run so not surprised.
Their OL did a great job pass protecting when we didn't send the extra guy. Young or not. Give credit where its due.

BC finished the game with 29 yards rushing TOTAL.
When is the last time we held a P5 opponent to under 100 yards, let alone 50. (AND we were on the road...)

Love the stat but BC had a top 25 rush defense last year because their pass defense was closer to 100. BTW not a knock on RU, I think the defense will be good and could become great.
