Lipstick on a pig. The team is bad! And while next year’s class is impressive, it driven by two one and dones who haven’t taken the court yet. Money to recruit in 2025 is all tied up in 2024. Whispers are the money that got us 2024 will dry up going forward if we don’t have Uber success next year. Everyone wants to excuse the slide because we don’t have Littlepage or Jordan. But it can’t be ignored. Almost sweet 16 to play in loser to NIt round one loser to this. Showing no effort, multiple times, at home, to teams worse than us in the standings. When your effort and attitude looks like this heads roll. Without some miracle run next year what you saw today will be all the time. We’ve managed to take the momentum of 2019-2021 and turn it into a roster of athletes who can play some d but have zero offensive skill. Stop with the “Cam screwed us”. This team is bad and the program isn’t much better. We’re renting two promising players for a year, let’s see. That recruiting strategy didn’t work til well for Michigan last year, Indiana this or Kentucky recently.

Is it players or the coaching? All of our fans wear scarlet color glasses most of them time as they are enamored with the fact that we made the NCAA tournament. In fact, we truly only made it to a Thurs/Fri game of the NCAA tournament 1 time. I know this is till a great feat and something we should be proud of but we should be building upon that and I see a lot of regression. Coaches are supposed to put players in a position for success...so the question remains is it the players or coaching?
