Leading scorers are Big E, Derkack, and Somerville with 6, Martini and Acuff each hit threes, Derkack hit 2. Dylan and Ace combined 2-10 for 6 points, the others were providing us more than them. We need elite Dylan and/or Ace 2nd half to win. The supporting cast is not a glaring issue for once.
Pike should steal a page from Maryland’s beat down of OSU and press them relentlessly after every made basket. Everything was way too easy that first half

Well time for Pike to step up and coach - so far OSU coach is eating his lunch - find a way to get Harper involved in the scoring or give every B1G team the video on how to beat RU for the rest of the season.
Our defense sucks, as does our rebounding, Pike packs the paint and gives teams easy looks from 3.

He did an excellent job building this team back to where it is. But we need to fix our portal issue. It shouldn’t be that difficult to build a team around Harper and Bailey. Also, maybe run an offense

We posted up Cliff for four years and he had no post moves. Somerville, Dylan and Ace do and we never give them the ball there - makes sense.

In Bailey’s defense, he is always in negative situations, catching the ball with the defense squared up. Then he makes a bad decision. We have no idea how to use him…which was always my fear. Harper might as well coach.
This game reminds me of Kennesaw State where Rutgers is unprepared to play and Bailey is in foul trouble .Ohio State has no respect for other players shooting by double teaming Harper.Rutgers scoring drought allowed Ohio State to have 8 point lead at half time.Its doubtful Bailey and Harper will score 40 points.Very disappointing performance having all week to prepare.

His shot selection sucks but he is a bad shot maker. Ace's problem is confidence. You can see it. He's forcing while not confident which is a deadly combo
