you can re enter..single tickets for both events.

It's a single-admission doubleheader that requires the purchase of a football ticket. Fans can leave to resume tailgating in between events as the ticket can be double-scanned.

"Hopefully wrestling goes out and takes care of business to start the day off," Ash said, "and really gets everybody enthusiastic and jazzed up for the football game.

Wrestled in HS and still a fan of the sport. I will probably go into the match. Doubt the rest of the crew will follow.

Yup. I'm a supporter of the program and will continue to be on Saturday, can't wait! Last year was GREAT with the entire north end+ of the stadium packed!

Hadn't planned on it, because I wasn't aware you could leave and re-enter. May reconsider ... mostly dependent on weather and what the rest of my tailgate crew wants to do.

I wish them well and happy with what they have already accomplished, but no way would I leave the tailgate to watch wrestling

Go Upstream, you'll have fun watching us destroy Maryland. Take the bull by the horns shut off the grill and call last call and get them into the match.

I plan on it but am seeing a dilemma

The wrestling matches start at 12noon. they are usually 90-105 minutes. The Scarlet Walk, that I always attend, is at 1:15pm. So, do I;

go to wrestling leave early for the walk?
stay for wrestling and miss the walk?
miss the wrestling and attend the walk?
miss it all and stay at the tailgate (not really an option for me but I need to throw it in there)

oh, Rutgers, why do you do these things?

Wrestling, period. :chairshot:

But I didn’t need to tell you that...:cool2:

Go RU!

No dilemma. Only 1 wrestling match at HPSS. 7 home games with Senior Day remaining. Easy choice IMHO.

The NWCA All Star Classic is the next day, Nov 5 at Princeton U:

It really depends on the tailgate. The timing is difficult for our group. We would normally show up around 11-11:30 for a 3:30 game. But that means we'd show up, set up, and have to leave for wrestling. I don't know that my tailgating group will want to get there earlier in the morning (and that would probably mean a breakfast tailgate, which we just did 2 weeks ago). Or we can show up around 11:30 and go right into the stadium. But that means starting our tailgate at 1:30-2:00, which is kind of late for a 3:30 game.

I guess a good compromise would be to show up at 11, tailgate for 1.5-2 hours, head into the stadium for the second half of the wrestling match, and then finish tailgating after wrestling.

Pumped for the debut of the greatest athlete at his/her sport in all of Rutgers Athletics!!
Nick Suriano I guess will be first match right at 12. Get in there people!!

Unfortunately they won't let me bring my scotch in.

Go to wrestling for the start. Leave at about 1:05/1:10, attend Scarlet walk, then come back in to wrestling on a different random ticket that you pick up for $10.
Also, as you know the football team has been walking on field to locker room this year. You think they still do on Saturday? And if they do, wouldn't you rather be inside the stadium?!?

I'm sure one can go and tailgate during the wrestling match and stand outside the gates toward the end and get free tickets from those wrestling fans who won't want to waste their time watching a football game that are leaving...

one ticket gets you in both events,no need to purchase a second ticket if you have a football ticket..

I was suggesting she attend wrestling, then leave for Scarlet walk, then come back in to watch end of wrestling (I've edited my earlier post to make that more clear). Can she do that with the same ticket and still get in to football later? That's why I was suggesting buying a random ticket for $10 solely to use for 2nd entrance to wrestling match.

I think going to wrestling and leaving early for the Scarlet Walk is the way to go. By the time the Scarlet Walk is over the wrestling match will be over so I would just head back to the tailgate.

Yes. The one ticket will scan for both events.

What I'm trying to communicate is can someone leave wrestling and come back in for wrestling on the same ticket then leave after wrestling and come back in for football on same ticket. 3 entries, 1 ticket. Ticket office said it's a double entry.

I am going to guess no, you can't. The tickets are probably set to scan only twice. But, as I said above, by the time the Scarlet Walk is over and you work your way back into the stadium the wrestling match will most likely be over.
