So Fred Hill Jr. was told not to attend baseball games after his profanity screaming behavior. He continued to do it. He was fired.

Kyle Flood was told repeatedly not to contact a professor. He did it anyway. He knowingly contacted the professor via personal email against university policy. He violated university policy numerous times and acted in an extremely idiotic manner. He knew he was breaking the rules and continued to do so thinking he was covering his tracks.

Why was Fred Hill Jr. fired and Kyle Flood not? I personally think the Kyle Flood's mess is far worse.

In fact as far as I can remember the Fred Hill Jr thing was barely on the news. Kyle Flood's mess is on the news nationally and drastically hurting the school's image.

Because that was before Pernetti was able to release his hiring prowess on the world. Rice started it and now it keeps happening.

Flood should be fired. Hopefully the suspension can be amended.

Simple. Flood had 10x the amount of success of FHJ in games. FHJ was pretty bad and the program was in shambles for multiple seasons under his reign.

So just as I thought, its about wins and not about character.

Sounds like the school got what they want. A win at all costs guy... who doesnt always win.

Because sitting in your car watching your father coach a baseball game is much, much worse than willfully violating University policy and trying to undermine the academic integrity of the institution because your CB depth is weak.

They wanted to fire FHJ but financially they felt they couldn't. The FHJ episode gave them the ammunition necessary to end the regime.

The FHJ episode is 1/100 as bad as this. Mike Rice throwing basketball at players was 1/10 this.

Not terminating Flood would be more damaging to our "image" than all of our arrests.
